William Olsen has published five collections of poetry, most recently Sand Theory (Northwestern, 2011). A new collection, TechnoRage, is forthcoming from Northwestern in 2017. He has received fellowships from Breadloaf, the NEA, and the Guggenheim Foundation; and awards from Crazyhorse, Poetry Northwest, and the Texas Institute of letters. His poems have been published in Poetry, The New Republic, Plume, Barrow Street, Triquarterly, and others, and his work has been widely anthologized. He and Sharon Bryan co-edited Planet on the Table (Sarabande), an anthology of contemporary poets writing about the reading life. He and Jack Ridl edited Poetry in Michigan/Michigan in Poetry. He is editor in chief for New Issues Poetry and Prose.
